Seat - How to Measure Twist of Saddle
The "Twist" of a saddle is the narrowest part of the seat. A narrow twist creates a closer contact with the horse. The small ridge that is created where the seat material meets the jockey leather can be felt by some riders on the inside of your upper most thigh. A Narrow Twist will eliminate this from occurring and create a smoother transition and closer contact feel. More of your inside thigh is used to que your horse.
