This is my mare and I at our last show  (Western) and with my sister English..one more show before the big fall Championship Show. The mare is 5 and this is her first season in the ring. She did great at this past show..really making progress! We brought home 13 ribbons this weekend.. in Halter, English, and Western total. This was the first time my mare had ever been ridden English - 20 minutes practice on Friday! It was also Lisa's first time riding this mare to boot. The mare does great Halter..but since halter classes are early, I tend to avoid them like the plague...but we went this time and she kicked butt! Anyhow, that's my bragging for the year...
